Home Sweet Home

This post DESERVES a picture... but it's only getting a map. That way you can come see for yourself where I live! At least for now, because my apartment isn't decorated. I have really trashy "curtains" at the moment. I tacked up some sheets so I would at least have some privacy. I'm not certain if I'm going to put up curtain rods or some sort of blinds... I should probably talk to the landlord, hence the current lack of window treatment. I will be taking care of those things when I have the time. I have two bedrooms, one of with is a sort of office. When the family helped me move in we called it the mystery room. It was easier for Mallory to grasp the idea of mystery room rather than office. If you don't know where it goes, put it in the mystery room! I also have a bathroom, living room, kitchen, and a balcony. I am just blocks from the bike trails. There are two parks in town, one is basically my backyard. I can walk down from my house to a great little park which is right next to the river. It's a really quiet small town. Earlier this week I saw the marching band passing by my apartment. It was awesome. Is there anything wrong with the apartment. YES! I'm the only one living here! What would be really great is if you could all move into the empty apartments next door! Debra?!? I'm going to take a break from this business and go vacuum. Camp

It was another great summer at camp! It was getting hard towards the end to focus adequate attention on both camp and the new job, but it worked! I couldn't be much more prepared for what I'm doing. I really enjoyed this year's staff. It was also really cool working with J-Staff. I have to remind myself that the J-Staff are the same age as many of my students. I loved being able to share camp with some of my family! Otherwise I would probably not have seen much of them.

Harry Potter

I loved the movie. I haven't read the book. I'm waiting until September when I have some advance lesson planning done. Right now I'm barely surviving. I can't talk about that yet though. Back to Parry Hotter, I mean Harry Potter! DEBRA!!! Holli had me completely fooled with her Harry Potter post. I have no hopes of doing the same as this is just me rambling on and on. I am looking forward to Book 7. The main point of this post is that I still haven't read it, so don't spoil it!

I'm BAAAAACK!

I have a lot of catching up to do! So I will post in little bursts as I remember what it was I wanted to post about. Don't get to excited. There is also a chance that I'm lying right now and will fall asleep before my 8-yr old sister. I'd say grandma, but I KNOW she stays up later than I do. I have internet now. That makes this a whole lot easier. I think I would have felt a little strange typing a blog at school. I can't talk about school though. That's another post.
